Wild Rose Jefferson announced Thursday Kenny Rogers has been booked for a second show Saturday, Aug. 8, as part of the casino’s grand opening celebration. The show will be at 7:30 pm in the Greene Room Event Center at Wild Rose Jefferson, with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets are on sale on the Wild Rose website.
“The first show sold out in 26 hours,” said Wild Rose Jefferson general manager Mike Couch. “We took a chance and asked the booking agency if Mr Rogers would do a second show and he said ‘yes.’ We are thrilled to be able to offer another performance.”
Brad Morgan will perform both Friday and Saturday nights at 9 pm at Coaches Corner. No tickets are needed for that show.
The grand opening celebration takes place over three days, starting on Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 am with “A Token of Our Appreciation Giveaway.” The first 200 people will receive a commemorative .999 fine silver, custom-minted Wild Rose token.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Friday, Aug. 7, at 6 pm, with a fireworks extravaganza planned for 10 pm in the Wild Rose parking lot.
